The serializer in SDI transmitter is capable of transmitting the data at 2.97 Gbps, which can be applied in SDI product family such as EX-SDI or 3G-SDI. PLL that is embedded in the transmitter is capable of using the external reference clock of 27MHz or 74.25MHz to generate various clocks for SDI transmission. SDI receiver has a multi-rate SDI integrated de serializer(135Mbps~2.97Gbps) including a cable equalizer that is capable of reconstructing severely attenuated signals. Further, SDI receiver features DC restoration to compensate for DC contents. It also includes Upstream Command Channel (UCC) circuit to communicate with cameras remotely.
