Eyenix CEO Hwang Jung Hyun received the Presidential Commendation on July 8, 2026, at the 15th Information Security Day Ceremony held at The Shilla Seoul, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the advancement of Korea's information security industry.Information Security Day is one of Korea's most prestigious cyber security events, jointly hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT),the National Intelligence Service (NIS), the Ministry of the Interior and Safety (MOIS), and the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA).
This year's ceremony was held under the theme, "Leading the Safe AI Era, Korea Takes the Lead." During the event, the Korean government presented its vision for strengthening AI-driven cyber security technologies and fostering a robust information security ecosystem to address emerging cyber threats in the AI era.
CEO Hwang was honored with the Presidential Commendation for his significant contributions to the development of information security technologies and the cyber security industry. This prestigious recognition reflects Eyenix's long-standing commitment to advancing AI semiconductor and image processing technologies,as well as its continuous investment in research and development to create a safer and more secure digital environment.
